Use App Settings to decide how much off shoppers get after a try-on, how often codes can be used, and whether friends can join in for their own discount.
In the Antla app, open App Settings (discount / email settings). Here you control:
Discount amount and type — percent off or a fixed amount in your store currency
Email timer — how long to wait before the first follow-up email (see When customers receive emails)
Repeat days — when to send a reminder if the code is still unused
Usage limits — total uses, one-use-per-customer, and optional lifetime (days)
Combinations — whether Antla discounts can stack with product, order, or shipping discounts
Repeating email options — for example reducing the discount if the email was used before
Discount codes Antla creates look like ANTLA-XXXXXX. Shoppers redeem them at Shopify checkout like any other code.
When a shopper submits their email after a try-on:
Antla creates a unique ANTLA- code for them.
That code is attached to their try-on request.
The follow-up email (when sent) includes the look and the code.
If they invite friends, Antla can create additional codes—one for the shopper and one per friend—so each person gets something to redeem.
Friend invites turn one try-on into several visits:
The shopper can share the look or invite friends by email.
Invited friends can receive their own message (styled with friend email design).
Each friend path can include its own ANTLA- discount code.
Customize friend emails separately from the main look email so the friend’s experience feels intentional (subject, header, buttons, and destinations).
Enable sharing / collection in your email design settings so the post–try-on flow offers share and email options on the storefront.
Common options in App Settings:
Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Limit total uses | Cap how many times a given code can be redeemed overall |
One use per customer | Stop the same shopper from reusing the code |
Limit lifetime (days) | Expire codes after a set number of days |
Combinations | Choose which other Shopify discounts Antla codes can combine with |
Reduce if email reused | Optionally lower the offer when the same email comes back |
Start stricter (one use per customer + a modest total cap), then loosen if you want more viral sharing.
Keep the friend discount close to the shopper’s offer so sharing feels fair.
Make friend email CTAs point to a strong product or collection page.
Watch redemption in Analytics so friend invites don’t outpace inventory or promo budget.
Pair friend invites with a clear email timer so messages don’t feel spammy.
