Every storefront try-on uses one credit from your Antla balance. Credits come from three pools, and Antla always spends them in a fixed order so your trial and plan allotment go first.
Pool | What it is |
|---|---|
Trial | Bonus try-ons from getting started / trial |
Monthly | Credits included with your active plan ( |
Purchased | Extra credits from one-time credit packs |
Your dashboard shows how many you have left across these pools (often as a combined total plus breakdowns).
When a shopper starts a try-on, Antla debits credits in this order:
Trial credits (if any remain)
Monthly plan credits
Purchased credit-pack credits
If all three pools are empty, Antla cannot run more try-ons until you add capacity.

When your remaining balance reaches zero, Antla updates your store so the storefront hides the Try On button. Shoppers simply won’t see the CTA until credits are available again.
That keeps people from starting a try-on that cannot finish. Restoring credits (plan refresh, upgrade, or a credit pack) turns the button back on for products that are otherwise set up correctly.
If the button is missing for other reasons (theme, funnel tags, wrong published theme), see Why the Try On button disappeared.
Monthly credits renew with your Shopify billing subscription for Antla. Unused monthly allotment follows your plan rules at renewal—don’t assume unused monthly credits always roll over indefinitely.
Purchased credits are one-time add-ons. They sit in the purchased pool and are used only after trial and monthly are gone (or when those are already zero).
Unlimited-style plans (when offered) behave differently for caps; your Billing page shows what your current plan includes.
Watch the dashboard when you launch a big campaign or Klaviyo send—traffic can burn through monthly credits quickly.
Buy a credit pack before a sale if you expect a spike.
Trial credits are great for QA; run your own try-ons early so you aren’t surprised mid-launch.
Credits are for generation attempts that start successfully—failed setup (missing button, product not in a funnel) usually means no debit happened.
